The Altynkol station is a strategically important railway crossing, through which goods are sent to more than forty countries around the world. Today, representatives of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation arrived at the Altynkol-Zhol customs post under the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and got acquainted with the work of the customs post.
During the familiarization, they highly appreciated the modern, automated processes of customs control and clearance of goods that meet current information requirements. They also saw how the inspection and screening complex with a scanning system works, capable of conducting customs inspection of one train with 50-60 containers in just 2-3 minutes.
