A meeting was held under the chairmanship of regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev to discuss the results of the heating season, preparations for the upcoming heating period, and issues related to providing the population with drinking water.
It was attended by akims of cities, districts, and heads of relevant industries. The head of the region emphasized that administrators of budget programs and heads of thermal power facilities must establish headquarters to prepare for the upcoming heating season and approve an action plan by May 1, 2025. They should develop design and estimate documentation for converting social facilities to gas by July 1 and begin creating necessary coal reserves from July. They must also work on the supply of liquid and solid fuel and monitor the prices specified in contracts with suppliers.
The second stage of providing multi-apartment residential buildings in Kyzylorda with hot water must be carried out efficiently and completed before the start of the heating season.
The Head of State has instructed that 100% of the population should have access to drinking water by the end of 2025. The region has allocated the necessary funds to support settlements not connected to the centralized water supply system. The akims of the Aral and Kazaly districts must complete drinking water supply projects in a timely and high-quality manner. It is essential to finish the installation of desalination plants in the settlements of Birlik and Aktam as soon as possible.
