As part of the promotion of the "Law and Order" narrative, Roman Khusainov, Head of the Interdistrict Anti-Corruption Department for the Zaisan region of the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan region, held a meeting with activists of the Markakol district of East Kazakhstan region. The event was attended by heads of government agencies and representatives of the quasi-public sector entities of the district. The main purpose of the meeting was to clarify the key provisions of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to inform the participants about the measures of responsibility for corruption offenses. During the event, Roman Khusainov stressed the importance of observing the principles of legality, openness and accountability in the work of government agencies. He emphasized that increasing the level of transparency in the activities of government agencies helps to strengthen the trust of citizens and the formation of sustainable anti-corruption immunity in society. Special attention was paid to the prevention of corruption risks, the need to implement an internal control system and avoid conflicts of interest. Representatives of local government agencies and quasi-governmental organizations expressed interest in the discussion and expressed their willingness to actively participate in the implementation of anti-corruption policy.
