The Department of State Revenue for the Kostanay region publishes for review the Order of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 06/02/2025 No. 192 "On certain issues of regulating the export of certain types of timber". The specified Order imposed a six-month ban on the export of certain types of timber by all modes of transport from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (EAEU HS code 4401, 403, 4404. 4406, 4407) regardless of the country of origin, with the exception of the EAEU HS code 4406910000 "Wooden sleepers made of softwood for railway or tram tracks, other" and the EAEU Customs Code 4401310000 "Wood pellets", the country of origin of which is the Republic of Kazakhstan. This order will enter into force on June 12, 2025.
