The Head of the Labor Relations Control Department — Labor Inspector of the Department of the State Labor Inspection Committee for the Karaganda Region, Sayagul Yerkebekova, participated in the seminar-meeting organized by the Karaganda Regional Trade Union Organization of Education, Science, and Higher Education Workers, in collaboration with the regional education department.

In her speech, Sayagul Yerkebekova not only highlighted the importance of collective agreements but also vividly and convincingly demonstrated how they work in practice: from protecting the rights of educators to genuinely improving the quality of working conditions. She emphasized that a collective agreement is not a formality, but a living mechanism that helps balance the interests of employers and employees.

The seminar participants paid close attention to each example, asked questions, and shared their own experiences. Many admitted that they saw collective agreements in a new light — as a powerful tool for the development and support of labor collectives.

Such seminars become not only a place for exchanging experiences but also a catalyst for positive changes — this is where new ideas are formed, initiatives arise, and partnerships are built that can transform the labor environment in education for the better.
