A ceremonial event was held by the Central Library named after Saken Seifullin in the Zhetysu region as part of the charitable initiative “Donate a Book to the Library,” with the participation of Doctor of Philology, Professor, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, and Honorary Citizen of Panfilov District, Anarbai Sagiuly Buldybai.

The purpose of the event was to promote reading in society, popularize spiritual values, and enrich the library’s collection with new publications. Anarbai Sagiuly Buldybai donated around 200 books to the library’s collection, including his own scientific and literary works, as well as a range of valuable literature.

Prominent figures in literature and culture took part in the ceremonial event. Among them were: writer and member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, Honored Cultural Worker of Kazakhstan Ali Iskabai; writer Nurila Bektemirova, a laureate of the International Literary Prize “Alash,” and member of both the Writers’ and Journalists’ Unions of Kazakhstan; children’s writer and Honorary Citizen of Koksu District Zhumabala Balakaranova; aitys poet Aitakyn Bulgakov; and Zhetysu regional representative of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, chairman of the branch Zhangeldy Nemerbai.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the role of books in society, the younger generation's interest in literature, current trends in modern Kazakh literature, and shared their thoughts on creative and cultural issues.

This event, held as part of the “Donate a Book to the Library” campaign, was highly praised as one of the most important initiatives aimed at promoting spiritual heritage, supporting reading, and fostering the development of national culture.
