On April 16, 2025, in the city of Stepnogorsk, the Regional Center for Folk Art and Cultural Leisure, together with the Central Palace of Culture "Gornyak," held the regional competition of contemporary choreographic art "BIART."

Identifying bright, talented groups in the field of contemporary dance art; creating conditions for the exchange of experience and improving performing skills became the main goals and objectives of the competition.

Each of the 14 amateur choreographic groups from Arshalynsky, Atbasarsky, Burabaysky, Bulandynsky, Ereymentausky, Zerendinsky, Korgalzhynsky districts and the cities of Stepnogorsk, Kosshi, Kokshetau presented to the jury 2 modern dances in the style of jazz-modern, modern, neo-folk, afro-jazz, etc.

The best of the best numbers were selected for the final gala concert.

Following the results of two rounds, the Grand Prix was awarded to the dance studio "STORIES" from the Ereymentau region. The first place was awarded to the folk dance ensemble "Mirage" from the Arshalynsky district
