Significant events of spring in Mangistau region

A world record was set in Mangistau on March 22. On the day of Nauryz celebration, 5,000 people in national clothes gathered on the Aktau embankment. This event was included in the Guinness Book of Records in the nomination "The largest gathering of people in Kazakh national clothes."

On March 23, the Beineu grain terminal, which had been idle since 2018, resumed its operations.

On April 5, a high-level opening ceremony of the year “Aktau – the cultural capital of the Turkic world” was held in Mangistau.

On April 10, a new dry cargo ship was launched at the berth of the Sarzha terminal of the Kuryk seaport

On April 13, a capsule for the construction of a visitor center was laid in the Bozzhyra tract of the Mangistau region.

On April 14, reconstruction work began on the Mangistau railway station in the Munayli district. Major repairs will also be carried out at the Shetpe and Beineu railway stations.
