In accordance with the decision of the Saran city maslikhat «Оn approval of the rules for the provision of social assistance in the city of Saran and the village of Aktas, establishing its amounts and determining the list of certain categories of citizens in need», on May 9 – Victory Day, social assistance was paid to the wives of the deceased and families of the disabled of the Great Patriotic War, families of the participants of the Great Patriotic War in the amount of 50 thousand tenge, for those who died in peacetime during military service – 50 thousand tenge, Home Front workers-100 thousand tenge. In total, 173 people received payment.
