The International KITF Exhibition is being held in Almaty. The exposition is the largest professional tourism platform in Central Asia and the main event of the country's tourism industry. More than a thousand travel companies from 30 countries of the world participate here.

The Karaganda region is represented by the Department of Entrepreneurship, Karkaraly National Park, the R-TOUR travel agency, the Balkhash medical and wellness complex, the Nomads Club Travel agency, the Orman Guest House, and the Visit Qaraganda Tourist Information Center.

The rich cultural and natural heritage of the Karaganda region was presented at the site. Popular holiday destinations for Kazakhstanis and foreign visitors are Karkaraly Park and the shore of Balkhash Lake.

If Karkaraly National Park is a mountain and forest oasis and is great for active tourism, then Lake Balkhash, which is one of the top 20 tourist destinations in Kazakhstan, may be to the taste of both water sports enthusiasts and those who prefer a relaxing pastime. Infrastructure development roadmaps have been developed for these areas.

The exhibition includes plenary sessions, roadshows, seminars, presentations and other industry events.

KITF is a great opportunity for signing memoranda and developing programs of interregional and cross–border cooperation between the countries.
