ONE ANNIVERSARY FOR TWO

On April 22, 2025 years, the Rudny City State Archive together with the Rudny Social and Humanitarian College named after I.Altynsarin held a public meeting dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the college and the 85th anniversary of the birth of Dosmagul Yeslyamovich Suimekov, who worked for 38 years at the college, including 25 years as director. The meeting was attended by college graduates from different years of graduation, teachers, college veterans and students, veterans of the city of Rudny and journalists. The meeting began with the guests viewing a photo-documentary thematic exposition prepared by archivists of the Rudny City Archive based on documents of Suimekov D.E. from a Collection of documents of personal origin of Honored citizens of the city of Rudny and a video about Suimekov D.E., who graduated from Mendygara Pedagogical College in 1958, and then after graduating from Kostanay Pedagogical Institute in 1963, he was sent to work at his native college.
Acting director of the Rudnensky Social and Humanitarian College named after I. Altynsarin T.O. Ibraeva told about the history of the college. The head of the Rudny City State Archive, Selyanina E.I., told about one of the directors of the college, Suimekov D.E., born on 04.22.1940 years, whose documents are in state custody in the city archive, as well as the documents of the college itself, which is among the sources of acquisition of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan. College graduates from different years of graduation and college veterans also spoke. At the end, the guests, teachers and students of the college laid flowers at the monument to I.Altynsarin and at the memorial plaque of D.E. Suymekov, installed on the building of the Rudny Social and Humanitarian College named after I.Altynsarin. The purpose of the event: to introduce young people to the study of the history of their native land, to preserve the continuity of generations using the example of the labor path of the older generation, as well as to promote archival documents. The event was attended by 52 people.
