The family of cadet Askar Zhalelov from the Academy of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has upheld a proud legacy of military service and devotion to the Motherland for generations.

Askar’s great-grandfather, Tökesh Ötegali, was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. His grandfather, Zhalel Tökeshov, served in military radio communications in Samarkand, contributing to national defense. Today, Askar’s father, Colonel Kenzhebek Tökeshov, continues the family tradition within the ranks of the National Guard.

- For our family, serving the Motherland is a sacred duty. I take pride in the path of my father and grandfather. I believe my son Askar will successfully complete his studies and become a worthy officer. We have truly become a military dynasty, - said Colonel Kenzhebek Tökeshov.

Following in his family’s footsteps, Askar dedicated himself to military service from an early age.

- Military service is more than a profession — it’s a way of life. Like my father and grandfathers, I want to serve my country with honor. I am continuing my grandfather’s legacy by training as a specialist in military communications, - said Cadet Zhalelov.

Askar is among the Academy’s top cadets and is currently developing an innovative project to integrate artificial intelligence into the internal affairs communication system.

- The advantage of this technology is the elimination of the human factor. The system is designed to ensure 100% facial recognition accuracy. It will be implemented through the Hytalkpro complex already in use by the National Guard, - he explained.

Today, the Academy of the National Guard trains around 700 cadets, including international students from the Republic of Tajikistan.
