As part of the national program "Taza Kazakstan", a large-scale clean-up day was held on the territory of the state historical and cultural museum-reserve "Saraishyk". More than 70 representatives of the cultural sphere took part in the event, the Regional Communications Service reports.

Dozens of trees were planted around the tourist center "Saraishyk". Such events are held not only to improve the environmental situation, but also to attract the younger generation to participate in such events, so that they are primarily interested in the cleanliness of their hometown.

“The clean-up day, organized by the Department of Culture and Language Development, was attended by the heads and employees of more than a dozen subordinate institutions. The main goal is to contribute to the improvement of their hometown. It is very important that comfortable conditions are created for tourists coming to the museum-reserve,” Arman Adilgaliev, Deputy Head of the regional Department of Culture and Language Development, said.

The museum director Abilseit Mukhtar noted that in the future the territory adjacent to the museum will be completely landscaped and will become a comfortable green area.

“This initiative is an important step aimed at greening and creating an environment harmonious with nature, as well as comfortable conditions for tourists. To plant one tree requires a certain amount of effort. And to grow it is a lot of work,” he said.

According to the organizers, such work within the framework of the Taza Kazakstan program will be continued.
