On May 2, 2025, counsellor of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Aselia Oralbayeva, participated and delivered a welcome speech at the international conference «Model UN – New Silk road – 2025», dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the UN in the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In her speech, kazakh diplomat noted the importance ofthe UN in protection of peace and core global values, as well as in ensuring the global dialogue during its 80 years’ activity. Underlined the appreciation of the UN as «the only universal organization with no alternative» by the President of Kazakhstan, referred to the country’s contribution to the global security, in particular, peacebuilding initiatives and Kazakhstan’s role in establishing of regional platforms. She also emphasized the readiness of our country to further revitalization of the UN system in the name of the global peace and security.
