Today, the residents of the region with special gratitude saw off the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from other regions that arrived to help during the difficult flood period. The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Shyngys Arinov, the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, heads of law enforcement agencies, military units and the public.

"The rescuers became a real support for our region in the fight against the elements. We all saw how they worked around the clock, stood in icy water knee-deep, strengthening dams in a storm and cold. Thanks to their dedication, we managed to save our villages and people. On behalf of the people of North Kazakhstan, I express gratitude to each rescuer," the head of the region noted.

The akim of the region conveyed words of gratitude to their parents and families. Thanks to their upbringing, the country has such sons - courageous, strong in spirit, real defenders. The head of the region thanked the guys for their professionalism, endurance and humanity.
