Preparations for the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Serbia Intergovernmental Commission were discussed in Belgrade

Belgrade, 6 May 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov met with the Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić.

During the talks, the sides discussed preparations for the 4th meeting of the Kazakh-Serbian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.

They discussed issues of activation of bilateral relations in the sphere of infrastructure projects and business partnership. Ambassador Atamkulov emphasised the importance of the upcoming meeting for the expansion of economic cooperation and the implementation of new joint projects.

Minister Dačić expressed the interest of the Serbian side in further strengthening cooperation, stressing the importance of holding the next meeting of the Commission to continue work on the development of trade and economic relations and implementation of agreements reached at the highest level during the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Serbia (18-19 November 2024).

The parties agreed to continue work to coordinate the preparation of the next meeting of the IGC.

Kazakh diplomat expressed gratitude for the support of Serbian colleagues and reaffirmed Kazakhstan's readiness to expand cooperation at the regional and international levels.
