On May 6, 2025, in the East Kazakhstan region museum-reserve in the exhibition hall on K. Kaisenov Street, 67, the opening of the art exhibition «Edges of Victory» took place, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition contains works by famous artists, members of the Union of Artists of the East Kazakhstan region N.P. Ashtema, G.M. Bekberdinova, members of the creative association «Zhangyru», students of the children's art studio «Suret» and aspiring authors. A separate block presents works from the funds of the museum-reserve, they were transferred in the 1980s from the Art Fund of the USSR. The exhibition presents portraits, as well as paintings reflecting the events of the war, front-line life and the exploits of Kazakhstanis. The exhibition aims to preserve the memory of the past and convey the values ​​of peace and patriotism through art.
