On the eve of the celebration of May 9 — Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War — Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov visited veteran Kasymkhan Aldabergenov at his home.

During the meeting, the head of the region warmly congratulated the respected veteran on the upcoming holiday, expressed deep gratitude for his heroism and read out a congratulatory letter on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kasymkhan Aga was also awarded a jubilee medal.

— You are the living history of our country. Your feat inspires generations and reminds them of the price of peace and freedom. After the war, you made a significant contribution to the development of culture, education and literature. Your life path is an example of true service to the Motherland," Kumar Aksakalov noted.

Kasymkhan Aldabergenov passed through the front roads and returned Victorious. In peacetime, he actively worked in the humanitarian field, educating young people through creativity, poetry and social activities. His name is well known not only in Kostanay region, but also beyond its borders.

At the end of the meeting, the governor of the region thanked the veteran for his courage, wished him good health, longevity and expressed confidence that the youth would keep the memory of the great feat of their ancestors with gratitude and respect.

The presentation of jubilee medals and congratulations on behalf of the President to veterans of the Great Patriotic War continues in Kostanay region as part of the Victory Day events.
