A special exhibition on the central square dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory left no one indifferent.

On the eve of May 9 — Victory Day — the Zhetysu Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbaev organized a traveling exhibition on the Central Square that stirred deep emotions among the public.

The exhibition featured wartime relics — silent witnesses of the brutal front lines — from the museum’s collection, the  collection of regional Police Department, and the Taldykorgan Military-Technical School. These artifacts, once part of the battlefield, now quietly and powerfully tell the stories of those who gave their lives for their homeland.

More than 2,000 people visited the exhibition, connected with history, and did not hide their emotional responses.
