A three-day training workshop titled "Women ICT Frontier Initiative (WIFI) DX" has concluded in Almaty. The event was organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT), Women in Tech Kazakhstan, She Business Community, Women in Business, and Bank CenterCredit through the Business Aru program.
The program trains women entrepreneurs in digital skills for the implementation of technology, automation, and other digital processes in their businesses. Representatives from the United Nations and APCICT trainers from Southeast Asia arrived in Almaty specifically for this initiative.
The event attracted around 50 applications from women entrepreneurs aiming to digitally transform their businesses. Participants were trained in e-commerce, digital marketing, and data analytics. Most of them will receive trainer certificates and will be able to share their knowledge with others on a free basis. As a result, the program is expected to expand throughout Kazakhstan and reach several thousand women entrepreneurs annually.
Thanks to the support of Bank CenterCredit, the program will be localized and translated into Russian and Kazakh. The training was provided free of charge to all participants.
