May 11 - Mother's Day. This holiday will be celebrated on the second Sunday of May from 2023. In order to promote the holiday, a number of events were held in the schools of Semipalatinsk, where the participants talked about their mothers on social networks and shared warm memories associated with the closest and dearest person. Drawing contests, class hours, extracurricular activities were held, children read poems, sang, danced, shared their memories and words of gratitude - every work of the children was filled with true love. Mother's Day is an important holiday celebrated in many countries of the world to honor motherhood, to thank mothers for their love and care. Celebrating Mother's Day contributes to strengthening the status of mothers, increasing the importance of motherhood and the role of mothers in the modern Kazakh society, glorifying the role of mothers in the history of the Kazakh people.
