A solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in the city of Taraz. The meeting organized in the "Victory" park began with the ceremony of laying flowers on the monument of Baurzhan Momyshuly, hero of the Soviet Union, famous commander, hero of the people, writer. This moment of bowing, as a sign of respect for the past and bowing to bravery, made a great impression on the crowd.

The festive gathering continued in the Hall of Fame. The public gathered here witnessed the grand opening ceremony of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly Museum on the occasion of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly's 115th birthday. The red ribbon of the museum was cut by the governor of the region Yerbol Karashokeev, military figure, major general Seyitzhan Koybakov, chairman of the regional veterans' council Erkinbek Soltybaev and Beket Momynkul, grandson of Baurzhan Momyshuly

Baurzhan Momyshuly's personal belongings, photos from the war years, manuscripts and rare archival materials were presented to the audience at the museum exposition. Undoubtedly, this historical place will give visitors a patriotic spirit and become an educational place that will remind them of the past.

During the event, a meaningful and meaningful thematic book exhibition organized by the regional universal scientific library named after Sh. Valikhanov was presented to the public.
