Yakhia Tasyrov, 103-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War, honorary citizen of Syrdarya district, went to the front in 1942. Participated in the liberation of Stalingrad, Kursk, Poland. He actively worked in peaceful life and contributed to the development of agricultural production. The recipient of "Red Star", "Great Patriotic War" orders of I, II degree and several medals, Batagoi elder of the country.
At the request of the head of state, special attention is paid to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, to pay respect to the elderly fighters whose ranks are few. The amount of social benefits paid to the participants of the Great Patriotic War, veterans equal to them and veterans of the home front who worked for at least six months during the war years is increasing every year.
Today, there are 2 veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces living in Kazaly and Syrdarya districts. If they are given 5 million tenge, the payment of frontline workers, veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and disabled people has been increased from 40 MCI to 50 MCI.
Works in this direction will continue.
