Today, in Shymkent, a number of social facilities for citizens with disabilities are being constructed and repaired. These projects are being implemented according to the instructions of the Head of State.

The construction of a rehabilitation center with 150 places has started in Bozaryk sub-district. The facility is planned to be commissioned next year.

An additional 50-seat building is being built on the territory of the special social service center No. 1 for citizens over 18 years old with psychoneurological diseases. The facility will be put into operation by the end of the year.

The design and estimate documents for major repairs to the special social service center #2 have been completed and are being submitted for state examination. These works are planned to be completed in August this year.

This year, a new center with 150 seats for children with psychoneurological and musculoskeletal disorders aged 3-18 is planned to be opened.

50 for citizens aged 18-35 A special institution with a seat will also be opened this year. The construction work of both facilities is expected to be completed by the end of May.

These initiatives will undoubtedly be an important step towards improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
