📍 April 14-16, 2025 - Ural city

From April 14, the Kazakh wrestling championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among teenage boys and girls born in 2005-2007 will be held in Ural city. A total of 468 athletes from all 17 regions of the country and the republican cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent are taking part in the large-scale competition. In addition, 20 coaches, 30 referees and 20 official representatives are coming to the championship.

Abay, Akmola, Aktobe, Almaty, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan, Ulytau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan regions
and the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent

Boys: -55, -60, -66, -72, -78, -84, -90, -100, +100 kg, "Camel wrestler"
Girls: -44, -48, -52, -56, -60, -65, -70, +70 kg

Opening ceremony

On April 14, the opening ceremony of the competition was held. The head of the physical training and sports department of the West Kazakhstan region Bakhdaulet Sabitov, the general director of the Association of the Kazakh Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Damir Bekbosynov participated in the event and wished success to the young wrestlers participating in the championship.

In addition, representatives of the republican and foreign mass media came to the city of Urals in order to widely promote our national sport - Kazakh wrestling. In particular, there are representatives of "Astana" TV channel, Qazsport" TV channel, "Informburo" information service and other media representatives.

At the same time, Mohye Amer, the head of the online platform of Al-Jarida" news agency from the State of Kuwait, came on a special visit and got closer to the national sport.
