M. In the Central City Library named after Auezov, a literary hour entitled "Abai's heritage is the wealth of the nation" was held on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev.

Specialists from the pension and social security departments of the department took part in the event.

Opening the event, librarian Abai Kunanbayev noted that he is an outstanding figure of Kazakh literature, one of the most important figures in folk culture and history. His works, full of deep philosophical content, are passed down from generation to generation as a priceless spiritual heritage. The participants of the literary hour got acquainted with the biography of the great thinker and thoroughly studied his creative heritage.
