Cribs were distributed to newborns in the perinatal center of Aktobe on Shanaryak day
18.05.2025 22:37:59 737 Shanyrak Day was celebrated as part of the ten days of the nationwide Nauryznama. The holiday was aimed at promoting family traditions and values. On this day, the regional perinatal center held a special event called "Giving cradles", where ten new-born babies were presented with cradles embossed with national patterns.
The head of the Health Department, Yerlan Sultangereev, congratulated the mothers who had babies on the eve of the holiday and expressed his warm wishes.
"Today we celebrate a special day of warmth, care and respect for our ancient traditions. It would not be an exaggeration to say that we took care of the baby and revived one of the national values that are of particular importance to its health and well-being through the "Cradle" campaign. Based on that, the focus is on newborns and their mothers who have just started their life. A cradle is not just a tool, but a symbol of peace, comfort and well-being in every home and family. May your children grow up healthy, happy and full of love. Don't let the smile of a baby leave your homes, and let the traditions continue from generation to generation," said Yerlan Sultangereev.
Director of the branch of the Academy of Public Administration in the region Saida Saduakasova and poetess Zhuldyz Kozhabekova also expressed their best wishes to mothers. They emphasized that the tradition of "cradling" is not just a ritual, but an expression of care for the child's health and the mother's peace of mind.
It should be noted that fifteen children were born in the region on the night of March 15-16. Babies and mothers are healthy. Among the happy mothers is 28-year-old Aisara Karamyrza. She gave birth to her third child at five o'clock in the morning on March 16.
"I have a son and a daughter, and today I became the mother of another hero. Both my eldest grew up in a crib, and I personally think it's the right thing to do. Lying in a crib is very comfortable and warm for a baby. I am very grateful for such a valuable gift," he shared his joy.
Young mother Inzhu Zholdybayovna gave birth to her first daughter Safura.
"Thanks to the doctors and midwives, everything went well. It would be great to receive a gift like this for the birth of my first baby. This is a sign of care and support, and I am happy that this beautiful tradition will continue in our family," said Inzhu.
In addition to congratulations, young mothers were told more about the benefits of ancient traditions in terms of health and education. Organizers expressed confidence that "Besik Tartu" will become a good tradition that will promote the unity, warmth and care of the people.
Shanyrak Day holiday was another reminder of the importance of family values, respect for ancestral heritage and careful attention to traditions. After all, a strong family is a strong foundation for future generations.
