At the request of Kostanay region akimat, servicemen of military unit 99260 were sent to the city of Arkalyk, which is at risk of flooding. In the event of an aggravation of the situation, additional 1,000 soldiers, 130 units of equipment and gabions against floods will be allocated to strengthen the river banks.
