Yerzhan Nurlybayev, Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, arrived in Akmola region

In Kokshetau, a republican field meeting of the coordination council on improving delivery services was held under the chairmanship of Yerzhan Nurlybayev, the vice minister of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Altynai Amrenova, the deputy akim of Akmola region. He noted that in 2024, 90 units of equipment were purchased for maternity hospitals in the region. In August 2024, the "One-day clinic" project was launched, where pregnant women can undergo all types of prenatal diagnostics and receive quick and accurate test results in one day on the basis of the "one-stop" principle. In the past period, 1867 pregnant women were examined by obstetrician-gynecologists.
A draft plan for reducing maternal mortality for 2025-2026 was developed to ensure a comprehensive approach to obstetric care. It aims not only to recruit specialists and purchase new equipment, but also to continuously improve professional qualifications in obstetrics on organ preservation operations.
Erzhan Nurlybayev noted that women's health is the health of the nation, from human resources to technical resources should be directed to solving the problems of maintaining and improving women's health, as well as preventive measures.
The visiting specialists asked questions about the quality of medical care provided to pregnant women in medical organizations. The state of ensuring infectious safety, as well as the role of the republican center in reducing maternal mortality, were discussed.
Today, 7,300 Akmola women are expecting a baby.
During his visit to Kokshetau, the Vice-Minister of Health visited the perinatal center and got acquainted with the services of the "One Day Clinic" consultative-diagnostic department; resuscitation and neonatal pathology departments, as well as the operation of the case center. The main attention was paid to the need to improve this monitoring system, which allows to reduce risks and increase the satisfaction of the population with the timely and qualitative amount of medical care.
