Sportsmen of Karaganda region won gold medals in artistic swimming in Paris

In the first round of the World Cup in artistic (synchronized) swimming in Paris, Viktor Druzin, a pupil of the Karaganda Region High School of Sports Excellence, won a gold medal in the individual free program. 167 athletes from 22 countries took part in the competition.
After the Kazakh athlete, two Greek synchros - Marios Kritsas and Stylianos Fuskis - came to the podium.
The World Aquatics World Cup is held annually and includes three stages and a superfinal. In 2024, it was held for the first time in Beijing, where Viktor Druzin, a young and promising swimmer from Temirtau, won a silver medal in a duet with Anna Pavletsova. He won a bronze medal in the "free solo" program.
The second round of the World Cup was held in Paris. Viktor Druzin, a student of the Temirtau department of A.Moldagulova boarding school-college, won a silver prize in solo performance. And in the third stage, he won gold in Canada. And won a bronze medal in the duet. This was Viktor Druzin's first medal of the highest standard in the world championship in his adult career. Anastasia Voronkova, Polina Merzlyakova and Milana Ashakhanova performed in the first round of the World Cup. After this victory, our girls received the title of master of sports of the international level of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
