Civil servants are obliged to observe official ethics, official discipline, restrictions established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, immediately inform the higher management of the state body in which they work and (or) authorized state bodies about cases of corruption offenses that have become known to them and prevent corruption offenses on the part of subordinates. Giving gifts and rendering non-official services to officials in order to obtain property benefits, benefits or advantages using the official powers of these persons, as well as accepting gifts or services in connection with the performance of their state or equivalent functions from civil servants and other persons dependent on them in the service, for general patronage or connivance in the service They are disciplinary offenses that discredit the civil service. In addition, civil servants must adhere to generally accepted moral and ethical standards during off-duty hours, show modesty, do not emphasize or use their official position when receiving appropriate services, and avoid cases of antisocial behavior involving an encroachment on public morality.
