On May 13, 2025, Astana hosted the International Robotics Championship among schoolchildren "Robotek Grand Tournament". 2 teams from the Osakarovsky district took part.
According to the results of the competition, the first place in the "Robo Basketball" category was taken by the "Dragon" team of KSU "Secondary School No. 8" consisting of students Kenzhebaev Diaz, Sansyzbaev Aslan (coach - Temirbai S.T.).
