A dairy farm for 1,100 heads has been opened in the Kobetey village in the Nurinsky district of the Karaganda region. The facility is equipped according to European standards and will become one of the largest in the region.
The investment project was implemented by Ramadan MF LLP together with the agricultural enterprise Chernigovskoe & Co. At full capacity, about 9 thousand tons of milk will be delivered per year. It is planned to reach these volumes next year.
The products will be supplied to milk processing plants in the Karaganda region and Astana.
Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev visited the new enterprise and congratulated the villagers.
– Today we are opening a modern dairy farm, an important facility that will become not just a new production link, but a real center of economic activity in the village. About 60 jobs will be created here. But the most important thing is the opportunity for young people to stay in their native places, work, develop and earn a decent living. I am convinced that it is precisely such projects that are shaping the new rural economy. Where there is work, there will be a school, a kindergarten, and a full–fledged life," said the head of the region.
He thanked everyone who participated in the implementation of the project.
The farm has been under construction since 2023. Arman Nurzhanov, Deputy Director for Livestock Development at Ramadan MF LLP, said that the first batch of Holstein cows has now been purchased.
It is known as one of the milkiest in the world.
The farm is equipped with modern European equipment for keeping and milking animals, all processes are automated, climate control is installed in the premises. Own feed production is also provided.
The staff is already staffed with specialists. When recruiting employees, priority is given to local residents.
– I am very pleased that such a large dairy farm has opened in our area. Previously, the entire district produced 27 tons of milk per day, but now there is one farm," said Georgy Prokop, an honorary citizen of the Karaganda region and Nurinsky district. A feeding base has been created. New jobs have been created. This speaks to the social responsibility that businessmen have assumed.
In general, the project will affect the development of the agricultural sector of the region.
