By a decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shaimardanov Zhandos Nurlanovich was appointed to the post of Vice Minister of National Economy. This is reported by the Government's press service.

Born in 1987 in the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from York University (UK), IE University (Spain).

He started his career in 2009 at the Ministry of Economy and Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a chief expert.

2010-2013 – Manager of NWF «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC. 

2013-2014 – Chief Expert of the Department of state commitment management policy and financial sector development of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2014-2016 – Director of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Department of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2016-2019 – Director of the Department, Managing Director of NMH «Baiterek» JSC.

2019-2020 – Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «QazTech Ventures».

2020-2022 – Director of the Monetary Policy Department of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2022-2023 – Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2023-2025 – Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
