The annual VIII exhibition of domestic manufacturers «Ulttyq ónim» starts tomorrow in Astana, which will be held from May 16 to 18 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center. 350 manufacturers from all regions of Kazakhstan will present their products. Residents and guests of the capital will be able to get acquainted with a wide range and buy goods produced in Kazakhstan, with the support of the Government, through the programs of the «Damu» Fund.

A variety of products will be presented at the exhibition, ranging from the food, light and chemical industries, to mechanical engineering products, equipment and jewelry. Among them are such brands as: «Gormolzavod», national sweets «Aq Dam», Galamilk, clothing and equipment for outdoor activities and tourism Altay Outwear, jewelry of «Balausa Jewelry», battery manufacturer «Kainar AKB» LLP, manufacturer of the first irrigation machine fully developed and assembled in Kazakhstan under the brand «Su bereke», the leader in the development and production of disinfectants, cosmetics and detergents «Aurora», the factory for the production of household appliances «Almaty Turmystyq Tehnika Zavody» LLP and many others.

Additionally, panel sessions on the development of domestic entrepreneurship will be held within the framework of «Ulttyq ónim». Leading Kazakhstani and international speakers will take part in them. The participants will discuss current trends, challenges and business opportunities in Kazakhstan.

The exhibition will also feature an independent tasting competition «Halyk Tandauy», a display of collections of women's and men's clothing from leading Kazakhstani manufacturers, master classes from entrepreneurs, daily raffles for gifts from exhibition participants and a concert program.

It is worth noting that the exhibition will demonstrate only a small part of the successful implementation of the state policy in the field of supporting entrepreneurs. Only in 2024 through the instruments of «Damu» Fund 29,5 thousand projects for a total amount of credits of 1,7 trillion tenge are covered by state support. For this purpose, 590 billion tenge was allocated. As a result, 25.4 trillion tenge worth of products were produced, 1,7 trillion tenge of taxes were paid, and 9,7 thousand jobs were created. In total, 225,3 thousand projects were covered by state support through «Damu» Fund instruments for a total of 14.1 trillion tenge in loans. Thanks to this, more than 220 thousand new jobs were created and more than 1,2 million jobs were saved, products worth about 130 trillion tenge were produced, and 9,0 trillion tenge of taxes were collected.

The holding of «Ulttyq ónim» has become a good tradition that promotes the popularization and promotion of domestic goods and services. Interest in the exhibition is growing every year: in 2022, the number of visitors amounted to more than 20 thousand people, in 2023 - 22 thousand. Sales volumes are also increasing: from 70 million tenge in 2022 to 74,1 million tenge in 2023.
