This day, established on the initiative of the United Nations, has been celebrated worldwide since 1994.

The family plays an important role in the upbringing of children, in the preservation and transmission of national values to the younger generation. It is in the family that a small citizen learns such important values as respect, love, support, mutual assistance, and hard work.
