✔The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the start of accepting applications for participation in the annual National Competition "Mereili Otbasy".

The competition is aimed at reviving moral values ​​and cultivating a positive image of family and marriage (matrimony), and raising the status of the family.

Families with achievements in work and sports, creative and intellectual spheres, science and art, as well as those engaged in socially useful activities can take part in it.

An application for participation in the competition is submitted to the district (city) commission from May 15 to June 15, 2025.

The competition is held in two stages:

1. District (city) stage (from June 15 to June 30).
2. regional (cities of republican significance, the capital) stage (from June 30 to July 15).

The title of laureates of the National Competition "Mereili Otbasy" will be awarded to 20 best families from all regions of Kazakhstan. The award ceremony will be held in Astana.

It should be noted that over the years, more than 20,000 families from all regions of Kazakhstan have taken part in the competition. Those wishing to take part this year can send their applications to the regional commissions.
