In the village of Kabanbai, Alakol district, Zhetysu region, with the support of the Akimat of the Zhetisu region, an anniversary event «world famous Anuar» was organized, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh writer, statesman and public figure Anuar Alimzhanov.

The memorial evening was held in the Kabanbai rural House of Culture of the Alakolsky district of the writer's native land. This literary event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, honored guests and viewers who appreciate the art of our people.
