Large canopy over the playground, table tennis: how the courtyards of Almaly district of Almaty are transformed
On behalf of Akim Yerbolat Dosayev, 56 yards will be landscaped in Almaly district of Almaty this year as part of the Budget of National Participation program.
At the moment, work on BNU projects has been completed in five courtyards - 30 Panfilov St., 30 Shagabutdinov St., 160 Tole bi St., 91 Kabanbai Batyr St. and68 Sharipova Street. Now the playground and sports complexes have been updated, the rubber coating has been replaced, benches and urns have been installed. And at 68 Sharipova St., according to the wishes of the residents, a large canopy appeared over the sports field.
"I am glad that we have improved the sports area, installed a large canopy, which has become a real salvation for those who play sports outdoors. Good protection from the scorching sun and rain. I often play table tennis, or work out on outdoor exercise equipment. It is very convenient that now everything is nearby, and it has become much more enjoyable to study. We are glad that our yards are becoming a place for active recreation and socializing," said Medet Akhmetov, a resident of the district.
A total of 45 projects will be implemented in the district under BNU in 2025. All landscaping works will be carried out from April to October this year.
To create a safe and efficient housing and communal infrastructure, it is planned to renovate 7 multi-family residential buildings with the renovation of the roof, facade and utility networks. Elevator equipment in 5 apartment buildings will also be replaced.
Recall that in 2024, 18 elevator facilities were updated for residents of 11 apartment buildings and 7 apartment buildings were renovated. In 2024, 52 projects were implemented in the district within the framework of BNU and 23 yard territories were additionally repaired.
In total, 938 projects have been implemented in Almaty in three years.
