Attempts to deliver prohibited items to the territory of penal institutions, including through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), are strictly prohibited and entail liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The list of prohibited items includes:
– mobile phones and SIM cards,
– narcotic and psychotropic substances,
– alcoholic beverages,
– cash and other items that are not allowed to be brought into correctional facility grounds.

If a drone is detected flying over the secured area, the information is immediately forwarded to law enforcement agencies, and those responsible are held accountable under the law.

WARNING:
Any attempt to deliver prohibited items is an offense and, in some cases, may lead to criminal liability.

Since the beginning of 2025, the following have been seized during attempts to deliver prohibited items:
– 229 mobile phones;
– 53.33 liters of alcoholic beverages;
– 8.59 kg of narcotic substances;
– 534,750 tenge in cash.

Liability:
– 129 individuals have been detained for attempting to deliver prohibited items;
– 69 persons have been held administratively liable under Article 481 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 32 cases are under court review;
– 19 individuals have been prosecuted under Articles 296 and 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Compliance with the law is the responsibility of every citizen.
