Every year on May 18, museum workers from different countries celebrate their professional holiday – International Museum Day. Since 1992, the festival has been held annually under a certain slogan concerning the peculiarities of museum business. The theme of this year's International Museum Day is "The Future of Museums in rapidly Changing communities." Guests and residents of the city took an active part in the interactive action "Night at the Museum – 2025" on May 16 from 19:00 to 23:00. On this festive night, Kostanay residents were offered a diverse program: interesting exhibitions and master classes, quizzes, musical performances and much more. Among the expositions of "Nights at the Museum" were: the exhibition of Kostanay artists dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory - "Spring. Victory. Memory", the exhibition "Mini-exotarium", exhibitions and sales of products by masters of decorative and applied arts, as well as the "Honey Shop", an exhibition and fair of honey. A special place in the program was occupied by an interactive project for children and adults "Touching with your hands", a puzzle game with illustrations of paintings, an action "110 steps to the museum" dedicated to the anniversary of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore, as well as a fashion show by the NAPOKAZ Modeling Agency.
