On May 20, a debate tournament was held at the Saken Seifullin Central Library as part of the “Youth – Our Future” project within the “Evening Library” format. The debate centered on the topic: “Should 21st Century Youth Gain Knowledge from Books or Not?”

During the event, the affirmative team “Alau” and the opposing team “Aiqap” presented their arguments and defended their viewpoints on the topic.     Each side developed their position with logical reasoning and real-life examples.

Members of the “IQAP” debate club, led by Ansagan Erkinuly Omarov, and participants from the cultural-literary club “Bolmys” took part in the debate.

As a result of the competition, the “Alau” team convincingly proved the importance of books as a source of knowledge and was declared the winner.
