A memorable mini-football tournament was held in DUIS in the Abai region.

           The solemn event began with a minute of silence. Six teams took part in the tournament: the USSO of the city of Zhezkazgan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a deployment in the East Kazakhstan region of the Shemonaykhinsky district, the Department of the Military Educational Institution for East Kazakhstan region, the Department of the Military Educational Institution for the Abai region, military unit 5511 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veterans of the Military educational Institution and employees of institution No. 20. There were ten players in each team.

             His sister and twelve–year-old son, Mansur Akhmetkali, were invited to the event as guests of honor. Captain of Justice Shalkar Sarsekanov was born on October 9, 1987 in the village of Zharbulak, Makanchinsky district, Semipalatinsk region. After graduating from high school, he entered the Academy of the Committee of the Penal Correction System, from which he graduated in 2010. From 2010 to 2016, he worked at the institution OV-156/6 of the city of Shemonaiha DUIS in East Kazakhstan region.  In 2016, Shalkar Sarsekanov died in an accident.

           "He was a strong athlete, actively participated in district and regional sports events, was engaged in community service and training at the children's sports school in the city of Shemonaiha," his colleague shared.

             Holding such tournaments contributes not only to perpetuate the memory of employees who died in the line of duty, but also to the moral support of their families, as well as the patriotic education of the younger generation.

              The victory in the mini-football tournament was won by the USSO team. The second is the DUIS for East Kazakhstan region, the third is the DUIS for the Abai region.

             – We are very glad and grateful that despite the change of the department's leadership, my deceased brother is remembered. Today's tournament was very interesting," said Shalkara Sarsekanova's sister.

                 The winning employees were awarded cups, diplomas, medals and prizes.
