On May 20, 2025, the Student Spring 2025 festival was officially opened in Kostanay, bringing together students from all over the Kostanay region.

The event is attended by leading universities in the region: Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev, Arkalyk Pedagogical University named after Y. Altynsarin, Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynula, KInEU named after M. Dulatov, Kostanay branch of ChelSU, Kostanay Socio-Technical University named after Z. Aldamzhara and Rudn Industrial University.

The festival was organized by the Youth Resource Center of Kostanay region. The program of the event includes intellectual, creative and sports competitions. On the opening day, volleyball, basketball and mini-football competitions, an intellectual quest in the Triathlon Park, and APF debate tournaments in Kazakh and Russian were held. The day ended with an Open Air evening disco at the MARCH shopping center.

The final games of volleyball, basketball and mini-football are also taking place today. A gala concert with the participation of all universities will be held at the KSTU Students' Palace, where the award ceremony will also take place. The participants will be awarded diplomas, cups, medals and cash certificates in the amount of 25,000 to 150,000 tenge. The main prize — a letter of thanks and a cash certificate in the amount of 400,000 tenge — will be awarded to universities that have actively participated in the festival.

The Student Spring 2025 Festival has become a bright event in the cultural life of the region, providing young people with the opportunity to showcase their talents, strengthen friendships and contribute to the development of student creativity.
