A meeting with the representatives of special educational institutions of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan providing training of judges and prosecutors has been held at the Supreme Judicial Council
The Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dmitriy Malakhov, the members of the Council and its Office, the Vice-Rector of the Academy of Justice under the Council Kanat Musin, as well as the President of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Turkey Bekir Altun, the Vice-Rector of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Abuzer oglu Khalafov, the Head of the Scientific and Training Center of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan Talib Mammadgusein oglu Jafarov and others took part in the event.
Dmitriy Malakhov, the Chairman of the Council, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He stressed the importance of strengthening ties between the Turkic states in the field of judicial education and research activities.
The President of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Turkey Bekir Altun expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for the warm welcome and noted the importance of further extension of cooperation between specialized educational institutions.
The participants of the meeting confirmed their interest in developing partnerships, sharing experiences and implementing joint educational projects. During the meeting, a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of justice and personnel training was signed between the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Scientific and Educational Center of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Kanat Musin, the Vice Rector of the Academy of Justice at the Council, stressed that the Memorandum creates conditions for the exchange of best practices in training judges, organizing internships and conducting joint research.
Talib Mammadgusein oglu Jafarov, the Head of the Scientific and Educational Center of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, added that the signed document will become a solid foundation for further cooperation and the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives.
In a friendly atmosphere, the participants expressed hope for strengthening professional ties and continuing cooperation for the benefit of the rule of law in our countries.
