Kazakhstan and Thailand Strengthen Cooperation in Digital and Information Technologies

Bangkok, May 22, 2025 – An official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital and information technologies was held at the Government House of the Kingdom of Thailand between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Mr. Arman Issetov and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong.
The signing of the document marked an important step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in high technology. During the ceremony, Ambassador Issetov emphasized that digitalization is a key element of any country's economy. Digital development is not just a trend but a strategic priority that directly influences economic resilience, national competitiveness, and the quality of life of citizens.
The joint efforts of Kazakhstan and Thailand within the framework of the signed document open up broad opportunities in areas such as the exchange of advanced experience in IT applications, e-health, distance education, and the provision of digital public services, as well as expanding ties between IT parks, academies, and innovation centers.
