On May 22, the East Kazakhstan Regional Library for Children and Youth hosted a festive event titled "Shanyrakh Shuagy" ("The Warmth of the Family Hearth"), dedicated to International Children's Day and held within the framework of the national action plan "Otbasynda omir suru bakhyty" ("The Happiness of Living in a Family").

The aim of the event was to promote the value of family among the younger generation and their parents, highlighting it as the foundation of a stable and prosperous society. Special attention was given to the role of the family as a source of love, mutual understanding, and respect between generations.

From the very first moments, guests were welcomed by a book exhibition and a photo gallery titled "A Literary Telebridge of Generations", featuring works of fiction and non-fiction about families, as well as photographs capturing warm family moments.

The main part of the program took place in the format of a musical and entertaining celebration, in which children, parents, and elder representatives actively participated. Outdoor games, contests, and relay races were organized to strengthen family bonds and encourage positive communication between children and adults.

A particularly touching moment was the performance of grandparents who, following ancient Kazakh tradition, gave bata — blessings and heartfelt wishes to the younger generation.

Additionally, the event included a meeting between a psychologist and parents and children from the development studio "Chudo-detki" ("Wonder Kids"), during which topics such as parenting, emotional closeness within the family, and effective methods of interacting with children were discussed.

The event was held in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, bringing joy to all participants, reinforcing family connections, and reminding everyone of the importance of family values in each person’s life.
