A preventive lecture on "Say no to drugs" was held at secondary school No. 16.
The event was aimed at forming a stable negative attitude towards narcotic substances among young people, promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as raising the level of legal and medical awareness of students.
As part of the lecture, the students were given:
• Kobeev Dauren Askaruly — Senior operative for particularly important cases of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Almaty City Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel,
• Simova Meruert Onlasinkyzy — Senior Inspector of the Juvenile Police Department, Police Major,
• Igembergenov Aldiyar Bakhytovich — Chief specialist of the state Legal Department of the office of Akim of Almaly district.
Special attention was paid to the harm of drugs to health, including irreversible changes in brain function, destruction of internal organs, mental and physical degradation.
The danger of addiction formation, which leads to social isolation, family conflicts, loss of interest in studies and work, and in some cases, tragic outcomes, is emphasized separately.
The speakers spoke in detail about the legal consequences of the use and distribution of narcotic drugs, highlighted issues of criminal and administrative responsibility, and shared practical cases from their professional activities.
The lecturers also emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle as an alternative to bad habits: regular physical activity, proper nutrition, emotional stability, participation in sports and cultural events promote health and harmonious personal development.
It is noted that a conscious choice in favor of health, personal responsibility and legal behavior is a key factor in shaping a successful and secure future.
Such events contribute not only to improving the legal literacy of schoolchildren, but also to strengthening interdepartmental cooperation between government agencies and educational institutions in the prevention of offenses and drug addiction among young people.
