From May 14 to May 16, 2025, the representative of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lyailim Kashimova, together with colleagues from the supreme audit institutions of Russia and Thailand, conducted an external audit of the financial statements of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) for 2024. The audit took place at the Academy's headquarters in Laxenburg, Austria.

The International Anti–Corruption Academy is an educational organization specializing in training representatives of various countries in the field of modern methods of combating corruption. The Academy consists of 80 UN member states, including Kazakhstan, as well as a number of international organizations.

The audit results will be presented at the IACA Assembly at the end of this year. In 2024, Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan was nominated for the position of the IACA's independent auditor for the period 2024-2026.
