The capital region has once again confirmed its role as one of the most important cultural centers of the country, where talent and skill are recognized not only in their native lands, but also far beyond their borders. Thus, on the eve of the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Akmola residents who made a significant contribution to the development of national culture and art were noted.

A high state award — the honorary title "Kazakstannyn enbek sirgen kayratkeri" — was awarded to Kairat Myrzabolatov, a leading actor of the Akmola regional Kazakh Musical and Drama Theater. Lyudmila Skuratova, an actress of the Akmola Regional Russian Drama Theater, was awarded the Kurmet Order for her many years of hard work and dedication to the performing arts. Diana Altaykyzy, whose work was highly appreciated at the national level and others, was awarded a letter of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Among the awardees is the 70—year-old choreographer of the Tselinograd regional House of Culture, Yersin Zhusupov, who has devoted more than 50 years to dance art. His name became known to a wide audience after a video clip of his students' performance, which spread throughout Kaznet. The compatriots widely appreciated the professionalism and dedication of Yersin Zhusupov. He is not just a teacher, but a mentor who has educated a whole galaxy of talented dancers, many of whom have become laureates of national and international competitions. His dance ensemble "Akbota" received the title of "Folk" and became the hallmark of the Tselinograd district.

Eldos Ramazanov, First Deputy Akim of Akmola region, warmly congratulated all workers in the field of culture and art on their professional holiday. He noted that talented figures of the region glorify Kazakh culture not only at home, but also far beyond its borders. Artists of the region successfully perform on foreign stages and actively participate in international cultural events.

So, as part of the celebration of the Day of Cultural Workers, for the first time, creative evenings of the Akmola region were held in Germany — in Frankfurt and Stuttgart. The program included performances by Ayagoz Kalmaganbetova, recipient of the Shapagat state medal, laureates of international and national competitions of the Orda ethno-folklore collective and Zamzagul Smagulova, a young traditional singer.

Cultural workers who participated in the V World Nomad Games, held in the capital, also played an important role in the cultural life of the region. More than 700 cultural workers of the Akmola region took part in the cultural program of the event.

By the way, almost 3,500 specialists work in the region, 127 amateur art groups work. The cultural infrastructure is actively developing — 8 facilities have been built and 78 repaired in three years.

The heritage is being digitized: 38 thousand museum units have been digitized, more than 400 QR codes, 3D tours and audio guides have been created. The anthology "An Ordasy Kokshetau" about prominent figures of the region has been published.

Theatrical and IT art are widely supported. The region holds festivals and conferences, including international ones. The collectives and soloists of the region successfully represent Kazakhstan on the foreign stage, demonstrating the synthesis of traditions and modernity.
